Travel assignment for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Lawrenceville, GA, beginning 09/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the assignment area.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage dosages according to protocol; verify patient identity and procedure
- Operate gamma cameras and SPECT/CT systems; acquire, process, and archive images with appropriate quality control
- Conduct routine quality control on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals; document results in the patient record
- Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles, infection control practices, and patient privacy standards
- Coordinate patient flow, assist with scheduling, and communicate findings to the interpreting physician as required
- Work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s) and 1 minor holiday (e.g., the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
- ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Availability for the 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, Monday–Friday schedule, with major holiday coverage as required
- Eligible to work in the United States; willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Must work in a team in a healthcare setting and adhere to safety, privacy, and procedural standards
Pay
$2,560-$2,674 per week
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
