Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise
  • Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines
  • Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system; ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols
  • Uphold ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) in daily practice
  • Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis imaging, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by PET viability or sarcoid studies

Requirements

  • 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
  • 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYS Rad Tech License)
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (preferred: NMTCB or ARRT(N)); ARRT certification with CE credits required
  • BLS certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred
