Responsibilities
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise
- Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radiopharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines
- Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system; ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols
- Uphold ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) in daily practice
- Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis imaging, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by PET viability or sarcoid studies
Requirements
- 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYS Rad Tech License)
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification (preferred: NMTCB or ARRT(N)); ARRT certification with CE credits required
- BLS certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred
