About the role
LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures
- Accurately document patient information and results
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New Mexico
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety regulations
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer systems used in healthcare settings

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
