About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment and record data accurately.
  • Document patient information and results in medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Current license/certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
