About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Asheville, NC. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a night shift schedule of 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill neonates.
• Monitor and manage the health status of patients, including vital signs and lab results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to form care plans.
• Educate families about the care of their neonates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in EMR.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience preferred.
• NRP certification required.
• NIC-RNC certification preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM.
• 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
