About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role requires the specialized care of critically ill newborns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NICU nursing and will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our smallest patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonates in a high-acuity environment.
- Monitor vital signs and manage medications.
- Develop and update nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate families on care procedures, development, and health.
Requirements
- Must have 2 years or more of Level III NICU experience.
- Current NRP certification is required; NIC-RNC preferred.
Schedule
- 13-week contract position.
- 36 hours per week.
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
