Travel NICU RN - $1,795 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. The position starts ASAP, lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts). The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, monitoring and managing infant care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and document patient status using EMR - Cerner.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
• Maintain standards of safety and infection control in the NICU environment.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding care and treatments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience.
• Current NRP certification required; Stable and NIC‑RNC preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Schedule

This position is a long‑term contract with guaranteed hours, operating from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including every other weekend.
