Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,195 per week

About the role

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) position in Gilbert, Arizona, providing specialized care in a Level II NICU for neonates 32 weeks gestation and above. Deliver high-quality neonatal nursing services within a fast-paced environment, including managing patients on CPAP and High Flow therapies, with a focus on babies facing various health challenges associated with prematurity or neonatal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonates in a Level II Special Care nursery with an average of 10 patients
• Handle patients on CPAP, High Flow, Feeder growers, R/S Sepsis, and Hyperbili
• Start all IVs and use the Cerner charting system
• Float to a sister hospital as needed

Requirements

• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and STABLE
• At least 2 years of NICU experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Level 2 NICU settings
• Valid license to practice
• Pass/fail Sim Lab test on Foley catheter insertion required on Day 1 of orientation

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Holiday shifts include one major and one minor holiday if scheduled
