Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,195 per week

About the role

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level II. This position involves providing specialized neonatal care within a busy NICU environment. The role requires recent experience in a Level II NICU, with responsibilities including managing a variety of high-acuity neonatal patients.

Responsibilities

• Managing ventilators and monitors
• Supporting neonatal intensive care treatments including respiratory support, blood transfusions, and neonatal procedures
• Pharmacy 24/7 on site

Requirements

• Valid BLS certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• At least 2 years of recent Level II NICU experience within the past 6 months
• Current licensure to submit application

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week minimum
• Four weekend shifts within a four-week schedule
• Holiday rotation
• Potential to float to a sister facility
• Shifts start at 7 AM with huddle and bedside report

Additional Job Notes

• Self-scheduling
• Unit-specific orientation with two shifts and preceptor
• Managing babies born at 28 weeks and above with high-level care needs including respiratory complications, vents, and various neonatal diagnoses
• Floats are not out of the NICU
