Travel Neuro/Trauma ICU RN - $2,054 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for an ICU RN to take a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and involves caring for critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in a Neuro ICU setting, including trauma, neuro, and surgical cases
• Operate advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Manage massive transfusion protocols
• Monitor intracranial pressure (ICP), brain tissue oxygenation, and ventricular drains
• Administer continuous dialysis
• Work with Sunrise (SCM) EHR system
• Adhere to 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratios

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Active RN license with Nursys verification
• Education attestation and verification
• Criminal background check
• Two professional references
• Personal health history documentation
• Required certifications and vaccinations:
  • Ascension Color Vision test
  • MMR vaccination
  • Fit Test
  • Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Health Statement
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
  • Varicella vaccination
  • Tdap vaccination
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen
• Completion of Ascension competency exams:
  • Pharmacology Exam
  • Specialty Exam
  • Core Competencies
  • EKG Exam
  • Skills Checklist
• Royal blue scrubs required

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Holiday/hard-to-fill shifts may be required (TBD)
