Job Summary
Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for an MRI Tech in Latrobe, PA. This position offers competitive pay and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Document patient information accurately using the Cerner charting system
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required
- Follow radiation safety protocols
- Administer starting peripheral IV’s as needed
- Provide care in isolation precautions and PPE as necessary
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- ARRT R certification
- BLS certification

- Experience with adult acute care, adult outpatient, brain, cervical, isolation precautions/PPE, abdomen, abdominal magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), abdominal magnetic resonance venography (MRV), adult ICU, breast, chest, cranial nerves, ER/Trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, foot, hand, head magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), head magnetic resonance venography (MRV), hip/bony pelvis, knee, lower extremity long bones, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), male pelvis, neck magnetic resonance venography (MRV), orbits, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, sacrum/coccyx, shoulder, spinal trauma, sternum, surface coils, T-1 weighted images, T-2 weighted images, thoracic magnetic resonance angiography, upper extremity long bones, lumbar, radiation safety, starting peripheral IV’s, temporomandibular joint with/without contrast
