About the role
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a high-acuity setting. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing advanced nursing skills and adhering to facility standards. The role requires maintaining patient safety, executing the nursing process, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility standards
- Execute the nursing process and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Float to other units based on organizational needs and competence level
- Work additional shifts, weekends, holidays, and call shifts as required
Requirements
- NV Registered Nurse (RN) license before start date
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must pass a telemetry competency exam covering rhythm strip identification and measurement
- Two or more years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment is highly preferred

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
