About the role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic nursing team for night shifts. This 13-week travel contract position is essential for providing high-quality telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to patients in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients using bedside telemetry, including the interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Provide general nursing care in a medical-surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care activities in the Epic charting system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license required prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is necessary
