Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care
• Monitoring cardiac telemetry
• Managing dysrhythmias
• Utilizing PPE and isolation precautions
• Assuming charge nurse duties on small units
• Coordinating staffing needs, bed flow, and unit operations during float shifts

Requirements

• Valid license in the applicable state or a compact license
• At least 1 year of professional experience
• Certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• US-based experience; prior hospital experience required
• References covering the last three years, including at least one year of employment

Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Flexibility to float between units and adhere to scheduled holidays and specific scheduling requests
