Job Summary

This position involves providing care on a surgical acute unit that handles a wide range of post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients. The role requires flexibility to float between units.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a surgical acute unit for post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
• Float between units as required
• Access and manage ports, central line care, chest tubes, epidural analgesia, feeding tubes, IV insulin protocols, isolation precautions, cardiac drips, Vasoactive drips, telemetry remote monitoring, titration of insulin drips, tracheostomy care, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Perform wound care

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
• Valid state license (compact license accepted)
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• BLS certification
• References covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years

Schedule

• 12-hour days shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting 09/22/2026
