Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $2,145 per week

About the role

This travel nursing position is located in Garrison, North Dakota, on an acute care medical-surgical unit. The role involves providing clinical support in a fast-paced environment, adhering to hospital protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical patient care on an acute care unit
• Work as a charge nurse
• Float to the Emergency Department as required
• Adhere to hospital protocols and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Cover rotating day and night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Emergency Department nursing
• Charge nurse experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working charge nurse duties
• Ability to float to the Emergency Department
• Experience in charge nurse or house supervisor roles

Additional Information

• Orientation to the unit will be provided
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Clinical involvement limited to nursing duties
• Unit primarily handles acute care with an ED component for trauma levels
• Hospital may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, days and nights (rotating)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
