Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,935 per week

About the Role

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Floor position in Saint Louis, MO. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a busy medical surgical unit within a Magnet and Teaching Hospital that is also a Level I Trauma Center. The position requires adaptability to various clinical scenarios, including trauma, acute care surgery, and geriatric trauma.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Must work every other weekend
• No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on a medical surgical unit
• Adapt to various clinical scenarios, including trauma, acute care surgery, and geriatric trauma
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Pass Relias EKG exam with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Adhere to compliance deadlines

Requirements

• Valid Missouri (MO) or compact state RN license
• 5 years of nursing experience
• Certification in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• 6 years of patient care experience
• 5 years of trauma level I experience
• 1 year of travel experience
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius
• MO license required at submittal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Wound Vac, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain Injury, orthopedic trauma, and surgical drains
• Proficiency in using EPIC charting system
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or acute care surgery unit

Duration: 13 weeks, starting 09/14/2026. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
