About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Freeport, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring medical-surgical interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care plans are met
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in medical-surgical settings preferred
