Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,935 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility in Jackson, Michigan. The role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient teaching. Ensures effective communication of patient and family information to the healthcare team and participates in implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start date: 08/11/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Medical Surgical Nursing
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Base telemetry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
