Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse for a contract position in Beckley, West Virginia. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on a wide range of surgical services. The position requires working nights with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Location: 1710 Harper Road, Beckley, WV 25801
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• CPR certification
• Required clinical certifications prior to start date
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• No minimum years of experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation is biweekly, on Wednesdays
• The position is created as a replacement for a contractor
• The facility provides care to approximately 13,000 patients annually and offers extensive surgical services including robotic surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, and more
• The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers educational programs for nursing and allied health students

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
