Job Summary

A Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a healthcare facility in Richlands, Virginia. This position involves providing compassionate and high-quality care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote positive health outcomes.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Virginia state RN license
• BSN or diploma in nursing
• One year minimum experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to work days shift with 12-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with adult patient populations on medical-surgical units

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required
• Candidate must have a general understanding of routine vascular, small parts, pelvic, and obstetric assessments
• The unit handles a diverse adult patient population with a focus on patient safety and quality of care
• Scrubs are required, with any color combination acceptable; jeans and tees are not permitted
