Travel Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation Floor RN - $2,900 per week

Job Summary

This inpatient rehabilitation registered nurse position is based in a healthcare facility located in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves providing specialized care within a 12-bed inpatient rehab unit, focusing on patients recovering from stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac issues. The position offers a contract duration of 13 weeks with a start date of August 3, 2026, and features rotating 12-hour shifts.

Job Details

• Shift: Rotating 12-hour variable shifts, including days and nights, with start times from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Schedule: 48 hours per week, with guaranteed hours unless during holidays when the unit is closed.

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year medical surgical rehabilitation experience or equivalent inpatient hospital experience, with Epic charting experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Float Requirements

Candidates will float to all inpatient units as needed.

• The unit consists of 12 beds with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:8 depending on shift.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
