Travel Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation Medical-Surgical - $2,341 per week

About the role

The Rehabilitation Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care focusing on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury. The RN will work to restore function and independence through therapies and specialized nursing care, improving the quality of life by treating the whole person.

Responsibilities

• Captures and coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Provides leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel.
• Might serve as a backup Charge Nurse.
• Acts as a resource for the patient care team in maintaining nursing practice standards.
• May float between Acute Rehab and Med-Surg units as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent Med-Surg and Rehabilitation experience is required.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least 3 months is required.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred.
• A valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact license must be provided.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing practices.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
