Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,085 per week

About the role

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse is expected to float to all campuses and must be willing to participate in on-call duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies in collaboration with the rapid response team.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic charting system.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Active Ohio or compact nursing license.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Travel experience required within the last year.

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
