Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,085 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts, with weekend work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6-8 during nights.
• Titrates drips as necessary and monitors patients for various medical conditions.
• Records vital signs, administers medications, and assists with daily living activities.
• Collaborates with a charge nurse and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Participates in floating to other medical/surgical units as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN License and BLS certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Experience with titrating heparin, bumex, and lasix preferred.
