About the Role
Provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and document care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and discharge planning
- Maintain infection control practices
- Explain treatments and prepare patients for procedures
- Assess and document patient status
- Manage multiple patients and uphold safety protocols
- Facilitate discharge processes
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
