About the Role
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
- Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures
- Document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Manage multiple patients while ensuring safety and infection control
- Advocate for patients and facilitate discharge planning
- Explain procedures and monitor patient responses
- Coordinate with teams and uphold safety protocols
- Support patient advocacy
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS certification
Skills
- Critical thinking and strong communication
- Physical stamina and technical proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure
- Visual acuity and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
