About the role

A Med Surg/Tele RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac data.
• Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Document care accurately and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and technical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Physical and sensory dexterity required for patient care.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• NIHSS certification.
• ACLS certification.
