Travel Med Surg RN - $2,085 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, with a half-hour lunch break
• 36 hours per week
• Weekends as scheduled, requiring every other weekend availability
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with infectious diseases, including COVID-19, MRSA, and C-Diff
• Utilize isolation precautions effectively to ensure patient and staff safety
• Administer medications and IV drips as appropriate, including common MedSurg IV medications and antibiotics
• Work collaboratively with a team of RNs and CNAs to maintain optimal patient care ratios
• Participate in charge duties as assigned, particularly during night shifts
• Complete a day of unit-specific orientation and a day of EPIC training prior to working independently

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience in MedSurg and Infectious Disease nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Travel experience preferred
