Travel Med Surg RN - $2,085 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing assignment in Weirton, West Virginia for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg. This is an 18-week contract position with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, including weekends as scheduled, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a variety of diagnoses including pneumonia, UTI, and alcohol withdrawal.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as necessary.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and assist with patient assignments.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC charting system.
• Support patient care technicians in providing necessary care to patients.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid RN license.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
