About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in a MedSurg setting. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including post-surgical cases.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and management for patient care decisions.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Current RN license and BLS certification required.
- Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
- Comfortable managing various patient diagnoses, including palliative and hospice care.
- Willingness to work with both 'clean' and 'dirty' patient assignments.
