Travel Mammography Technologist - $3,083 per week

About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a position in Bethel, Alaska. The start date is ASAP and the duration is 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during the examination process.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Adhere to infection control practices and sterilization procedures.
• Follow all regulatory and accreditation standards related to mammography.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
• Experience in mammography preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection measures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
