About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and securely.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control practices and sterilization protocols.
- Follow all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- ARRT certification and NV State License (must have before start date).
- BLS certification.
- 2 years of Mammography Tech experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Mammography Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Nevada State License.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
