About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment in LaFollette, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
- Assess health status, develop and update personalized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform skilled procedures
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegate tasks appropriately
- Educate residents and families on care and chronic condition management
- Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, and document care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality, resident-centered care
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 1+ year recent experience as an RN in long-term care
- Valid RN license, current BLS/CPR certification
- Critical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to move and assist patients, work effectively with teams
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work under supervision as needed
