About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in a long-term care facility, you will provide skilled nursing care, oversee care plans, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and develop/update care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor residents for reactions or changes in condition
- Supervise and support nursing staff
- Educate residents and families on care and health management
- Document all care provided accurately and timely
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Additional nursing certifications
