Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care within a long‑term care setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate patient discharge planning.
• Maintain delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
• Promote patient and employee safety.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish individualized care goals.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching.
• Document assessments and interventions.
• Support team‑based care.
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation.
• Participate in team‑building activities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and effective time management.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Ohio (or compact).
• BLS certification prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired (no minimum specified).
• Education and licensure aligned with nursing standards and local regulations.
