Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $1,955 per week

Job Summary

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care for long-term and rehabilitation patients in a facility recognized for exemplary service. The role requires dedication to patient care, adherence to clinical protocols, and the ability to float within designated units as needed.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend
• As-needed holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing
• Successful completion of a 5-day orientation (including 1 day onboarding and 4 shifts with preceptor)

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Pyxis medication system experience
• Strong LTC and post-acute care background
• Wound Care experience
• Able to follow physician orders
• PIV insertion
• Blood draw skills

Additional Information

• Candidate must have at least 2+ years of recent LTC experience, including wound care and following medical directives
• Ability to float to a nearby unit with LTC and rehabilitation patients is required
• No on-call or callback responsibilities
• Orientation includes 8 hours unbillable, with the rest of the orientation period guaranteed

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
