Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $1,975 per week

About the role

This Long Term Care registered nurse (RN) position is located in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care across multiple units, including specialized dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term residential care. The RN will collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents requiring varying levels of care, including assessments, wound care, and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care across multiple units, including specialized dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term residential care.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents requiring varying levels of care, including assessments, wound care, and patient management.
• Work flexible shifts, including night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Floating to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Associates in Nursing, valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
• 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work flexibly within a 24/7 coverage model.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above qualifications.
• Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexibly within a 24/7 coverage model.
• Able to float to other units as needed.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
