Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week assignment in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Job Summary

This position involves providing direct patient care in a licensed long-term care environment under the supervision of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader. The role requires adherence to established policies and procedures, with a focus on patient-centered care and contributing positively to the patient and family experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• 2+ years of long-term care (LTC) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Compliance with Michigan LTC fingerprinting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working under direct supervision in a long-term care setting

• The facility enforces a strict attendance policy effective June 1, 2024, with a three-strike rule for absences or tardiness exceeding 20 minutes, with exceptions for communicable diseases or hospitalization supported by documentation.

Pay package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
