Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist - $2,573 per week

About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist for a travel job in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a long term care facility setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Dakota.
• At least one year of recent relevant work experience in a long term care facility setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of long term care facility operations and regulations.
• Experience with fall prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
