About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 18, 2026, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in performing activities of daily living
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and quality of life
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document patient care and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

  • Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to various locations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal and incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Additional benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are in addition to the weekly pay.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.
