About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care position in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa.
- Experience in long-term acute care preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term acute care nursing practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a physical examination.
