Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the plan of care
- Monitor vital signs, observe changes, and document assessments
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including transfers as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the health care team; document in charts and care plans
- Hold infection control practices and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in daily practice
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and the 3x12-hour schedule
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
