Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Siler City, North Carolina.
Start date: 07/10/2026. Duration: 7 weeks. Weekly pay: $757-$811 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting: LTC/Nursing Home environment suitable for a temporary travel assignment with local rate considerations on Friday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately in the MAR
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Perform routine nursing tasks including ADLs, wound care, dressing changes, and injections as ordered
- Maintain up-to-date care plans and thorough charting; participate in care rounds and interdisciplinary communication
- Ensure patient safety, implement fall precautions, and respond promptly to call bells
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and family as needed
Requirements
- Active LPN license in North Carolina (in good standing)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills; reliable team player
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to adapt to a nursing home LTC setting
