Overview

Join a travel assignment beginning 07/22/2026 for 15 weeks in a long-term care nursing home setting. Earn $961–$972 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts on a schedule that includes Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. This position is for a licensed practical nurse in a long-term care environment requiring careful patient monitoring, medication administration within scope, and collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN, including routine assessments, vital signs, and documentation
  • Administer prescribed medications and therapies within scope of practice and facility policy; document administration and respond to any adverse effects
  • Support activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and restorative care to residents as part of individualized care plans
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition; communicate findings promptly to the supervising RN and participate in care planning as needed
  • Maintain a safe and respectful patient environment; follow infection control protocols and ensure timely response to call lights and emergencies

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Hampshire (or as required for practice in the assignment location)
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a schedule including Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other weekend
  • Experience or familiarity with long-term care or geriatric populations is preferred
  • Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and care plans
