Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
Overview
This travel temporary assignment starts 08/01/2026 for 8 weeks with a pay range of $857 to $936 per week and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Work schedule is a 3x12-hour shift pattern in a LTC - Nursing Home setting. Local candidates only. Training must be completed prior to hitting the floor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, with a caseload of up to 30 residents
- Administer prescribed medications on the hall when there is no medication technician available to assist, following facility policies and nursing standards
- Monitor resident status, perform basic assessments, record vital signs, and report changes promptly to the supervising clinician
- Complete required pre-shift training and any facility-required onboarding before beginning floor duties
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, treatments, and responses, ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety, infection control, and continuity of care
Requirements
- Local Albuquerque candidate preferred (local assignment only)
- Ability to perform medication administration duties on the hall in the absence of a med tech
- Must complete required pre-floor training prior to starting on the floor
- Comfortable managing care for up to 30 residents and documenting care accurately
- Availability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support an interdisciplinary care approach
