Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and supervisory nursing care during night shifts in accordance with current standards and regulations.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and document responses.
• Maintain infection prevention, safety protocols, and resident privacy; respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and support rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Maintain accurate charting, refill authorizations, and adherence to policies to uphold quality of care.

Requirements

• Active Colorado LPN license
• Current BLS certification; IV certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting; training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing
• Education: training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
• Ability to work in a memory care setting during night shifts; CAPS background check required
• Reliable transportation is advised due to rural location constraints in Gunnison
