Job Summary

The Healthcare Supervisor Level 1 position is based in the healthcare setting and is responsible for overseeing clinical staff and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. This role involves supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while maintaining safety and operational standards in the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed
• Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
• Emphasizes patient and employee safety, fostering a safe work environment and adherence to safety policies
• Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Participates in patient rehabilitation programs
• Initiates discharge planning
• Provides patient education
• Supports team building
• Manages supplies and charges
• May assume charge responsibility following orientation

Qualifications

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification prior to first shift
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience
• Ability to perform all essential nursing duties
• Ability to actively contribute to a positive team environment

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
