Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,046 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. The role requires the application of the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and providing safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of prior travel experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certification required; PALS certification can be acquired within 30 days of start.
• AWHONN certification preferred and can be completed onsite.
• Valid RN license required; AHCA clearance necessary for Florida placements.

Qualifications

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
