A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery is sought for a hospital located in Farmington, New Mexico. This full-time night shift position involves providing high-quality care to adult and newborn patients within a busy regional childbirth center.

Job Details

• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification renewed every 2 years
• At least 2 years of experience with cervical exams, infant delivery, postpartum couplet care, nursery experience in a level 2 nursery or higher
• Practicing in a community hospital setting with a regional mission
• Charge level experience
• Familiarity with Cerner and Fetalink electronic health records
• Minimum of an ADN or BSN degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Fetal monitoring
• Neonate stabilization
• Troubleshooting high acuity situations
• Good triage assessment skills

Additional Information

• The unit has 17 beds with 2 triage rooms, following AWHONN standards, and approximately 75 deliveries per month.
• Equipment includes fetal monitors, ISTAT, and Freestyle.

Pay package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
